The odd part is that the authorities tinker with various no-ball rules, but still leavethe front-foot-rule in place, effectively untouched. Returning to a back-foot rule would make it easier for umpires and bowlers.

I think it is because Indian's have a shorter stride than whities, so it would be unfair to have a backfoot law
