The way it should be between two combative nations like Aus and SAf, bliks.bliksem wrote:That reminds me of a sign I saw at one of the cricket grounds recently - "I support two teams - South Africa, and whoever the Aussies are playing."

Disagree, typically such a set of humourless mean buggers. Either pound you into submission if they're better than you or try and bore you to death if they're worse than you. Jonty Rhodes is one of their few players that I liked.
I'd go Windies, then NZ, Sri Lanka,
At the bottom its Pakistan, India, SA and worst of all the Aussies (of course). I think everyone wants to see them lose. But at least you can still admire their cricket and players like Gilchrist, Warne and (through gritted teeth) McGrath, Waugh & Ponting.

I get on well with Aussies in general though, as a consolation - as I'm sure you were really gutted

Nah, I don't like NZ too much because it's like taking LSD and listening to a warped dictaphone. That and the fact they're boring. I did like Pak but the last couple of years have worn my goodwill thin. With SL, I don't like their minnow-romping and chucking match-winner. Apart from that I admire them. India I didn't like under Ganguly but do now like, bar those tw@ts Zaheer and Sree.
My rankings:
England
WI
SA
Ind
NZ
SL
Pak
Aus
Bangladesh don't count as a 'Test nation' IMO.

Ah McCullum's rubbish. I reckon he's got no chance of making 39.

Aye. Would like Sri Lanka a lot more expect for the cheating one - for a (relatively) small and poor country they've produced some cracking players - Aravinda best of all, but also Jayasuriya, Vaas, Sanga and Jayawardena.
India take themselves far too seriously for a country that's produced one half decent pace bowlers in 80 years.

It's only India for me. All of the others are a bunch of ****** as far as I'm concerned, special mention to the Aussies and the English.

So where did this Morkel bloke crawl out from?
Not heard of him before, but he as good as stuffed our campaign and he's deconstructing NZzzzz's tournament ATM....which would definitely round off the stuffing of our good selves.

He was instrumental in stopping us from winning the test series last year in SA. Great find for SAf.
And his elder brother Albie should probably take credit for stuffing England's campaign.

He's been Moonlighting from Chelsea under the pretense that he's 'injured'.
