Dorrie, can you please remove some of the -----------s from your signature so it doesn't keep stretching the page?
It's not necessary to have any there, in fact, 'cause the forum automatically separates the sig anyway.

Yeah.... the 'deleted scenes' scripture, where Ravan comes to back to earth to give the Indian team 10 thappads. Only one lucky player gets away with it .

I cannot see how India can win this test. They will do better than Test 1 but SL are favourites.

Lovely looking ground Galle. Chance of some rain I heard, making our chances of getting something out of the series even more difficult.

Not at all mate. I am one of those fans who never underestimate the opposition. I think India will put up a big fight and I really do hope the Lankans didn't get any complacent from the last test result or take it easy. I really would like to see a close fought contest. Oh and I want Murali to do really well.

Is it a surprise that Kumble has asked his bats to raise their game?
Agreed Indian batsmen played horribly in the first test. But what about Indian bowlers led by Kumble himself on the same pitch?

Mahela averages almost 100 at Galle while Murali has taken close to 100 wickets here @ 16.

By all indications both teams will play unchanged in this test.

SL has lost just 1/9 tests at Galle in last 8 years and that one defeat was against Aussies in '04.

Pitch "Weird pitch," says Waqar Younis on Ten Sports channel. "One side has lots of cracks that have already opened up a touch and which should take spin from second day on wards. The other side has flat, no cracks but is damp and might aid swing because of the sea breeze." Whoa! If only the other half had grass it would have been like the Federer Nadal exhibition game on the half clay half grass court. Immense fun awaits us.

Play held up as sun is reflecting off the cars, parked along the boundary lines! What a car park.
Weird reason to stop the play.

It won't be long when 2 Ms get the ball.
Would be interesting to see India's tactics against them as hardly any Indian batsman came down the pitch in last test to counter them. UMB especially should do that provided he stays that long at crease.
