Mine was OK, chicken, bacon, onions, mushrooms and spinach with a cheesy sauce. Heard of worse.

I've never heard of a stir fry with cheese sauce!
Sounds awful.

He could lose the bacon as well . . .sounds more like a fry-up than a stir-fry . . .

Silly billies, people read 'stir fry' and immediately think of chinese or thai or something.
This was an english stir fry and the cheese sauce was mild. It had mustard, a dash of cream or two, a little stock and some herbs and spices. Was ok.
As for the bacon, there was about 12 lardons I whacked in, no biggie, just added a little 'pizazz'.

Did it have bean shoots, white cabbage, veg?
I'm intrigued now.

Tac, I'd got a heavy cold, had been drinking and it's getting a bit parky around these parts. Time to get the English meals out again.
