Home town performances Test level Bat or Ball? Empty Home town performances Test level Bat or Ball?

Post by Para Batsman Fri 21 Nov 2008, 10:02

Maybe a decade or two and within Australia of course.

My theory is home town advantage means nothing and may be a disadvantage due nerves, crowd expectations etc.

Any opinions or stats?

Ponting can be best ground.

Well clearly at your level you don't aspire to move upwards.

Oh, dear. Forgive him, philcric . . . he really doesn't understand the depth of his hypocrisy. Nigel slagging people as "sub-human" . . . oh, dear.

Start with Gilly.

What was his best result ground on average in Australia?

Or was Dizzy a better bowler at Adelaide?

In the latter case I think not.
