Home town performances Test level Bat or Ball?
Maybe a decade or two and within Australia of course.
My theory is home town advantage means nothing and may be a disadvantage due nerves, crowd expectations etc.
Any opinions or stats?
Ponting can be best ground.

Oh, dear. Forgive him, philcric . . . he really doesn't understand the depth of his hypocrisy. Nigel slagging people as "sub-human" . . . oh, dear.

Start with Gilly.
What was his best result ground on average in Australia?
Or was Dizzy a better bowler at Adelaide?
In the latter case I think not.
