Get used to Pak making concessions and accomodations for quite some time now. It's gonna be a long winter pal.....Unfortunately!

Now Faisalabad is off the schedule to make the tour even shorter

Sri Lanka's itinerary for a three-match trip to Pakistan has been revised once again, at the request of the Sri Lankan cricket board.
The three ODIs will now be played in Karachi and Lahore, with the port city hosting the first two ODIs back-to-back. "We have received a request from SLC for the change and it has been agreed upon," Salim Altaf, chief operating officer PCB, told Cricinfo.
In the new schedule, Sri Lanka arrive in Karachi as planned on January 18. Karachi's National Stadium then hosts the first two ODIs on January 20 and 21. The third ODI will be played in Lahore on January 24 before the visitors return home a day later, to complete a quickfire week-long trip. Faisalabad - or Multan - thus miss out as a venue.
Altaf gave no reason for the latest change but it is likely that the confirmation of a five-match ODI series between Sri Lanka and India has been factored in. The two agreed yesterday to India's tour, which will include a Twenty20 international as well.
Sri Lanka will return after the I
At least they have not reduced the number of matches.

Come one Faisal!
India will have to start its test campaign in NZ without any practice match. Still the Indians are not complaining despite knowing that the first test will certainly be a loss without any acclimatisation of test specialists like Dravid, Laxman, Mishra etc.

Chandan appa,
....if you don't see anything wrong with the way R'tunga was fired and the way the PAK tour is being screwed up then i can't help you and i don't have time to further discuss this issue in any great detail, i merely raised a simple question regarding S Lankan cricket and it was followed by a series of extremely defensive posts.

Lots of questions can be asked of all boards and most answers would be as ugly as the questions themselves.....So why single out one board? Perhaps you should be asking the people who framed Pak's foreign policies and constitution and ask some hard questions on why Pak as a whole is a pariah in world politics and everyone's yo-yo to mess and tinker with. The whole situation and not just cricket and the reason why most cricket teams are giving the elbow to Pak is because of the long running political atmosphere in Pak. Everything comes full circle. Lets face the truth, no cricket side wants to play Pak in Pak atm and the fact is the Lankans are doing a big favour to Pak by even playing any matches there for now.
I know these are hard times for Pak but until your people, the citizens themselves finally make up their minds about what kind of nation they want to be and pressed for a complete overhaul of the very foundations that set Pak since independence, nothing will change and things will only get worse. As long as there is political instability, terrorism issues, army dominance and hardline islamic proliferation at the center of your foreign policies and day to day administration, things can only get worse. God give strength to your people so they can unite and demand a change from the selfish military junta-politician nexus to deliver.

Vikas,
I know that you have a lot of extra time on your hand and are also obsessed with Pakistan and use Pakistan as a tool to hide the skeletons in your closets but there is a limit to being defensive. With the exception of you and Buck i have a lot of respect for the Indian members on this board and no matter how much you abuse PAK i will TRY not to get in to a tit for tat match up in public.
Having said that if you are really desperate for a mud slinging match then PM me, i will try to "donate" half an hour on the weekend and answer a few of your marathon posts.
....and yes my question about Lankan cricket still stands.

Question
Under this new "deal" will SL be allowed to win cricket matches against India?
