You've got 5 ODI games against the sheep-botherers next month - can you contain your excitement?

Sh1t - does that mean Warner doesn't play the KFC tonight (a NSW win gets them to the Champs League).

Bugger:

The 22-year-old is yet to play a first class match for NSW but former players have been calling for the youngster's inclusion since his exciting Twenty20 display. Warner will now miss Saturday's Twenty20 Big Bash game against Victoria.

It's a freaking conspiracy against the Dubbers.

Australian team physiotherapist Alex Kountouris said:
“When Michael arrived in Melbourne on Wednesday, it was evident that after one weeks rest the pain in his thumb had decreased enough for him to bat at training the following day.
“However during last night’s match, he experienced pain while batting. It was the first time that he had batted without an injection since suffering the injury during the 3 Mobile Test match at the WACA.
“While Michael could continue to play with pain-relieving injections, this will ultimately slow his recovery. As a result, it was decided that he will now rest for two weeks, after which point he will be reviewed by Cricket Australia medical staff with the plan for him to be available for the Commonwealth Bank Series against New Zealand.”

Alex Kontouris continues to make mistakes. Bring back Hooter.

I wouldn't mind him scoring 5000 test runs at 45 or so.

Botha won the toss and sent the Aussies in. Warner replaces Clarke, while Harris replaces Tait. Probably hard for the latter to back up within a short space of time.

Butterfingers makes way for AB, while the big Morkel loses his place to Ntini.

Aust cricket in crisis. I saw at least 3 bowlers in the KFC T20 last night who are better than Harris.

Harris can field and bat. Tait can't field, bat, or bowl.

I think Warner will struggle against any bowler who takes pace off the ball. Problem is, S.A. only have Botha to do that.

Warner gone to Steyn.

Saf's have done the right thing by bowling first - theres always early movement in Hobart.

I would have thought so too but the local Tassie guy on ABC radio said there's usually no swing in the morning but that Hilfenhaus will love the swing generated by the breeze in the afternoon.

How many more times will McKenzie drop Punter? SA seems intent on always giving Punter some extra lives. Very Happy

Marsh out in the 70s again. Nice runs, but he's gotta get them faster.

SA has again on a catch-dropping spree. Lucky for SA Punter hit the ball to AB but McKenzie, Botha and Ntini should hang their heads in shame after grassing sitters. The little Morkel didn't look pleased when the skipper put one down off his bowling.
