I had a strong sense that Dello and Merls knew each other outside FB...the enmity suggested more than net strong-arming.

I notice Basil has'nt been on since the problem arose. I wonder how many of our dwindling number of regulars will give up before the problem is fixed.

Whether it is possible to track down Dello.

I guess Fromage has already asked the forumotion folk whether it is possible for them to contact Dello, if they are not able to pass on his details.

I guess they do not have Jay's details.

Contacting FBers to advise of current address.

Some of us will have contact details for other members. Most of the Oz posters seem to have found the address, but few of the Poms. BD is right. I have not seen Bas post since the stuff-up.

Hopefully PCS may have contact details for some Pomgolian posters. It would good if Pete or any of us with contact details for missing posters could get in touch.

I think Taips may have details for a few of the Poms.

1. I am guessing both Fromage and Forumotion have an email for Dello. I am also guessing this address is either obsolete or he is not responding.

Hello Everyone

I have tried the contact email Dello left me, without luck. I have also contacted two different Forumotion Administrators, and have yet to receive a reply.

I am hoping the hosts will transfer Founder privileges to me. However I cannot guarantee this will happen.

At this stage all we can do is let as many members know the Forum still works but the address is www.flamingbails.forumotion.com.

I will endeavour to contact as many active members as possible via the contact email addresses that I have.

Aye, most of us seem to have worked it out.

I had trouble via that route this evening. I clicked on my "favourite" but it didn't go to the page you are referring to, MrK. It just said the domain didn't exist. I was concerned that link had now expired as well.

I have since modified the favourite link to add forumotion (as suggested by Fromberg above) to the link addy and works fine.

Hello Everyone

I have sent emails to over 100 of our members based on those that have visited the site in the past 4 years OR have over 50 posts.

I have no way of knowing if the email addresses supplied are still active (e.g. there is one or two AOL addresses) so I don't know how the contact rate will turn out.

If we are lucky, most active posters and quite a few inactive ones will get the email. Perhaps it will encourage some of the inactives to return.

Yes I can contact Dan, vilks, Growler, and jontyh, though Jonty has not been here for some time anyway.

I just searched on Google for "flaming bails cricket forum" and this URL was the second result. Hopefully other people try that option before giving up.
