To me, it does seem a bit defeatist. I mean Pakistan is going to be co-hosting the WC two years from now: they must be aiming to have satisfactory security by then.

If terrorist infested nations like India are safe to go to, then why cant Eng, Aus et al fulfill their obligations and visit Pakistan.
