I didn't really rate Arafat When I saw him on his test debut. He only seemed to be able to bowl 10 overs in each innings before his pace fell below 130 kph.

Isn't the Pak domestic season having one extreme to another? Think I remember you or someone else posting an up and coming bat got 300 odd the other day and everytime I take a peek at matches over there teams are being skittled out?

What's going on with the pitches/balls?

yeah it was quite strange because he went from 140 kph in the 1st spell to bowling in the 120s in the 2nd and 3rd.

there isn't much balance between bat/ball OR the teams(23 teams) and obviously a lot of the players are NOT picked on merit.

I once saw a pure batsman(forget his name) with a batting average of 12 or 13 leading a domestic team. Laughing

i looked at a couple of scorecards and surprisingly he was batting at # 8 or 9!

that means his batting must have regressed or perhaps the county team(Kent?) want him to focus on his bowling.
