Re: John O'Neill...
Poor Aussies. Apparently losing in the QFs wasn't an option and as such they hadn't made any travel arrangements should they lose. All of which meant they had to fly to England for an overnight stay before travelling back home to Australia. I do hope the English press treated them with the respect they so obviously deserved.
Btw, the post-match quote of the day for me came from No 8 Nick Easter, who said, "I'd like to thank those good for nothing, whingeing Aussie farkwits from the heart of my bottom for all they have said about us over the last few weeks."
Ok, happen he was only responsible for two thirds of that quote but I'm pretty sure that's what he meant to say.

A self created fcukwit at that......
Seems the IRB will be taking action.
Can't let that sort of bigoted sh!t go by unchecked.
Still .... there's nothing like making it count on the field of play.
Words become unnecessary.
And yes, it was a good balanced riposte from Barnes.

Re: John O'Neill...
Although I thought Brian Ashton's rather mild response after he was asked about O'Neill's comment summed it up rather well in that understated way of his:
"Well, he probably hates us even more now".
Good call, BA.

Re: John O'Neill...
Some sober reflection on the media running up to that game.

I remember reading the article being talked about here. It really was breathtaking in its arrogance. Not offensive, just a crazy hostage to fortune.

Yeah, breathtakingly arrogant and conceited. The best pack in world rugby? Pfft... one of the worst is more accurate.
