Do you need an invitation or can you find your own way there?

Unlimited transfers can be made prior to a competition starting. Once a competition is underway there is a transfer limit* available to you to make modifications as and when you see fit**. Transfers can be made in one go or over the course of a competition it's down to you to mange your team.
All transfers are instantaneous so points for the new player will start immediately.
* Transfer limits will vary for each competition; this is due to each competition running for irregular time frames.
** Transfers close while a match is in progress to avoid unsporting behaviour where users could swap players for who's performing in the match.
I guess more will become clear once the competition gets under way
Re: T20 World Cup Fantasy Cricket
just registered a team - can make 16 transfers, thats plenty. should be fun if we can can get more ppl in than we managed for the football. remember the bbc cricket wc2003 fantasy league we had on the ch.4 forum? i finished 3rd.
Good times.

There, joined.
I was left with a frankly embarrasing choice towards the end.
Come on.... own up who else has Chris Schofeld in their team?

Re: T20 World Cup Fantasy Cricket
I did have him - and I thought about keeping him on the basis that if he doesn't play, he won't lose me any points and it's a batsman's game anyway.
But, in the end, I just had to downgrade a few other positions to get in a less laughable bowler.
I think I ended up with Darren Powell.
I'm not sure if that's a step up or down...

Re: T20 World Cup Fantasy Cricket
What happens if you transfer out your captain after the comp has started? Do you get to select a different player as captain, and is that counted as one of one's 16 modifications?

Tatenda Taibu was listed as a Grade 'E' player! Bargain!
Couldn't find Fat-Boy Powar in the Indian team though. Has he not been selected?

Why am I the only one who's team can be viewed? And no Powar wasn't selected probably 'cos he is a fat boy.

Because you've got the 'make team public' bit ticked in your profile.

Pft.... we don't want copycats before the thing has begun.
Either than or most of us are hiding the fact they have Chris Schofield in their team as I originally suspected!

I'm sure there's a one liner in there somewhere, I'm just too tired to think of one. My initial reaction was, will you marry me?

Just a reminder that there are free no cost modifications until 11th September and 16 modifications allowed once the competition starts. A captaincy change will cost four modifications. As explained on the Game Guide page, your captain earns you double points, but you also lose double points.
In other words, RTFS.
