Absolutely loving the Prodigy's latest track. Farkin' awesome return to form.
Speaking of crazy big bass beats, Bonkers by Dizzee Rascal is growing on me too.
They played on the same bill at Nottingham Arena recently, but I was out of the country. D'oh.

Deep, dark, bass beats from the 80's. An edgy and haunting work of genius for my money. Fan-farkin-tastic.

Re: Time for a music thread
I like all sorts without being particularly passionate about anything.
Sport has always been my big passion, with music more of an interesting sideshow.
I've always had quite diverse groups of friends as well, who've been into anything from mainstream pop to hip-hop, on to heavy rock, bit of baggy here, bit of goth there, punk and on to house, techno and trance.
Suppose their tastes have all rubbed off on me to varying degrees.

Re: Time for a music thread
Don't remember being that bothered by this lot at the time, love it now.
Perhaps I'm getting old but this is a forgotten gem IMO.
All hail Spotify and it repairing those disjointed synapses.
Stupid haircut like, always was and always will be.

This mid sixties band were regarded as Australias answer to the Rolling Stones (except that Gerry Humphries had a better voice than Jagger)

Has anyone checked out Spotify?
It's like a free music player? It didn't really work for me, but other people have said its very good.

Akil Dasan is usually a hip-hop eclectic, but despite the lo-fi, I think he turns a pop cliche' into somethng fresh here:
