Tonights NFL game at Wembley
Apparently according to an NFL spokesman Wembley had 1 million applications for tickets for this match.
Just a bit hard to believe IMO, that 1/60th of the country wanted to go see some Yankee egg chasing

My son applied for some.
They allocated him two, but they needed three, (it wouldn't have been fair on the friend that missed out), so they declined.
The Americans must think it always rains in England
Why don't they close the roof???

And that all the streets are cobbled, and that everyone has a pic of the queen in the dining room.
Stoopid Americanos, it's nearly November! There's just the odd chance it may rain.

Re: Tonights NFL game at Wembley
Here's a funny thing, most weeks in Australia on the various pay TV channels, we get between four and six games live, even seven when Thursday night matches kick in.
Last week, Fox Sports News was actually running stories about the Wembley game - not often they run preview stories on NFL here - and I was looking forward to recording it and the Pats game as a double-header.
Surprise Surprise, no live coverage whatsoever of that match, or any of the Sunday 1pm games. Add to that no Sunday night game this week, so we're down to 2 matches this week.
It wouldn't be so bad except that the programming offered was a doco on marathons, and stuff like pre-recorded golf coverage and so on.
At least they're showing the Pats...

I'm waiting for Geoffrey Trueman to tell us how the game would be much better if they imported some rules from rugby league...

Re: Tonights NFL game at Wembley
I was going to post a pic of some wet cheerleaders, but I was directed to a really good porn site and forgot.
