Re: So how many don't drink or smoke
Seriously? A straight edge forummer? The madness of being sober during a drunken posters hallucinogenic top-bottom, seriously baffles me.

There are a few, no doubt, and fair play to them. I don't think it's healthy.
Re: So how many don't drink or smoke
I guess Red is one judging by her comments.

Red, if she was a real person, would be your archetypal non-vicer.
They usually have some awful wank fetish to make up for it though.

I wonder what Red's fetish is...

I'm off the booze at the mo - only to give my vital organs a break before the forthcoming onslaught, mind.

I've been off it for nearly two weeks, which is pretty good. The reason for that is an infection though, so it's almost 'cheating'. I did have some shrooms on saturday - it be the season over here. 'Good' times.

Yeah, I'm all for that, only I can't lift weights because my arm is f*cked. I can't run. Because my arm is f*cked.
Re: So how many don't drink or smoke
Why the fark would you want to lift weights and run? There are easier ways to die.

Re: So how many don't drink or smoke
I have to have a break every now and again as I don't get the concept of moderation.
I'm either on the ale, which means every night without fail, or off it.
I actually enjoy the abstinence for a while as I sleep better and get myself all organized, but I'll be bored of it after a couple of months and back on the sauce with a vengeance. I've only had to do this since my late 30s. Prior to that I spent 20 years on the booze.

Yeah, TBH getting trounced consistantly for a period of time has rarely done me any harm. I'm still in the apparent 'superhuman' mode where I can tank it and get up for work with two hours sleep.
Re: So how many don't drink or smoke
My mate used to be able to do that after a heavy night. There is zero chance of me being able to do any sort of work the day after a big one.Brass Monkey wrote:Jontyh wrote:I have to have a break every now and again as I don't get the concept of moderation.
