A flat pitch in NZ just means a game will last four days instead of three.
Re: New Zealand v Pakistan, 3rd Test, Napier, Dec 11-15
This has ben an entertaining series, simply because both teams have shaky batting lineups that can implode at any moment.

low scoring series are often the best. both teams have strong attacks and weak batting line ups. though bond will be missed big time

But NZ's batting really is woeful. grant Elliott, their number 6, averages 10 FFS. And that's after 5 test matches. Tim Mcintosh, their senior opening batsman, averages 23 after 9 tests. Ross Taylor is their one world class batsman, and he's a serious talent.

Mcintosh has really been embarrassed by M Asif, he really needs a flat track to save his career. Manzoor and Mcintosh must be the 2 worst openers in world cricket.
Malik and Fulton have also been awful

I don't think Manzoor is THAT bad. You read it here first- I reckon he'll make it. His technique isn't as bad as some commentators say.

Both sides look incapable of batting out a draw. This NZ side most definately can't. So a series win for for Pak in this battle for the wooden spoon looks definately on the cards.

Nothing like winning a home series away now is there?

NZ apparently weakening their 'batting' by playing an extra bowler in this test.

What happened to Jesse Ryder? He had such a promising start. A double ton against India and averaged over 60 on India's last tour.

Flat track or not, I really enjoy watching the two young Pakistani stars, Amer and Umar Akmal. But unfortunately I can just watch the post tea session.

I assume he's injured in some way. Or being overlooked due to yet another bout of brain-dead indiscipline.

Oh yeah, Tim Southee. Forgot all about him.
Wonder why he doesn't play for the N-zuds all the time. It's not like they've got any other prospects if they keep having to wheel out Chris Martin to stank up the place.

O'Brien's retirement will bring Southee to the front of the queue. Good times.

Another weak display by the Pakistani top order. This pitch is excellent for batting and 400+ is definitely doable. However, they're making hard work of it.
43/3.
O'Brien has a 2fer so far in his final Test.

Could you maybe predict Hussey's retirement sometime next week to see if your woofing still works
Anything to stop him joining the pakistanis splashing around in the muck and the mire

Depends how nippy Perth is, and how accurate the WI bowl.
You never know, he might be the anchor.
