A few drinks with Big Tom

Think Australian cricket in the 1990s and Tom Moody hardly stars. He was the 198cm all-rounder who was eternally (and incorrectly) labelled “laconic”. Moody is anything but. He knows his cricket and will gladly talk about it. He’s held aloft two World Cups, six Sheffield Shields and coached this month’s Test tourists Sri Lanka to the 2007 World Cup final. Fortunately for Australian cricket he’s back in the fold, coaching the Western Warriors this season. Inside Sport caught up with him for a morning coffee.
