Re: KFC Big Bash
Indeed. Fatty boom-bah nearly ran himself out earlier in the innings as well.

And the Tozzies still managed to lose.

Re: KFC Big Bash
Actually, if you include the Tozzies batting, the match saw 8 wickets fall in 13 balls.
You can see why T20 is a craze sweeping the world - you get to watch lots of men walking to the middle of a field and back again.

Didn't watch the Tozzie innings. Surprised to see they lost. Even more surprised that the Sozzies have now qualified for the orgiastic festival of greed in India.

Confirmation that T20 has no correlation to Cricket

They learnt everything they know from the great Boof. I'm sure he's having a quiet ale or 7 to celebrate.

I did note that O'Brien done good.
Pretty piss funny that the Tozzies couldn't get 130 odd to win.

Yeah, but they need two imports while everyone else makes do with one.

I agree. Pity our batting can't match the bowling.

Vettori feeling a bit tired after flying in from Invercargill. A bit of dampness around for this one. Wonder how heavy the rain would have to be to stop it.

Rain has prevented play from starting at present.
Even funnier, skully is stuck in traffic en route to the ground.
"Time to point and laugh at skully", the smug dubber says in an SMS.

Play has to start by 9.17 pm local time to allow a five-5 match. Pissing down there at the moment.

Farrrrrrrrrrrk me drunk. 2 hours 15 minutes to do a 25 minute trip and there was still 5 kms to go. How do I know it was a 25 minute trip? Cos that's how long it took to get home after I did a 'U'y after coming after the last rise before the Homebush precinct and seeing yet another 5 kms of stopped tail-lights. And it was starting to piss down.
Still, I did say to my father-in-law "the boys on the forum will have some fun with this." Not 5 minutes later I received Zog's "PMSL - free tickets to watch the rain" SMS. My father-in-law couldn't stop giggling.
On a record-breaking front, the F-in-L and I agreed, it was the single worst traffic jam we'd each ever been in. Unbelievable number of people going to a farkin meaningless plastic cricket match plus several accidents/breakdowns. Had a quick squiz at Foxy and it seems a lot of people are still either trying to get to the ground or have turned around and gone home.
