Lions v Tigers
Why oh why are england still picking Steve Kirby for the A team? FFS, if he was still in the frame for the top team we would have PLAYED HIM ALREADY. He's 33 and still behind about 4 other bowlers for a spot in the test team.

And why the hell is Cook, the England vice captain, playing for the Lions? Makes no sense...

Can't Essex give that to him instead of them picking Pettini?

Re: Lions v Tigers
Yes please!
Kirby is certainly a strange selection. Given how the Banglas are getting pummeled by county 2nd XI's the Lions may have well picked someone like Richard Jones, who at 23 is improving all the time

Steve Davies has been in superb form with the bat so far this season. And he's a better keeper than Kieswetter. I'd have Kieswetter as the ODI/T20 number one, but Davies as Prior's back up in the tests.

6/24 for Bopara, he's got to be in contention for the new ball at Lords, taking it away from the batsmen down the slope.
Re: Lions v Tigers
Bangles 220 and 139/9 which is probably even worse.Basil wrote:Lions 294 all out
