I wasn't going to comment on this crap, but that's far enough. The whole Swiss population are a reserve army (WTF they even have an army of any description is beyond me seeing as their policy is to avoid at all costs upsetting future customers) they get to take their rifles home because there is no room in the vaults 'coz of all the gold.

If you live in an urban environment the only reason you need a weapon is to do harm to somene. As for self protection, ask the Kennedy family how useful highly trained ARMED guardsw are.

agree with qmy....it was the one time when I really did admire ljh...tho it was pretty funny when it came out that he took to wearing bullet proofed vests

Well. it's the bendy buses that really fark things up. However we're relying on Boris, once he's cleared the motor bikes from the bus lanes, to create a special lane for local hunts (think I've spelled that right! )

I note that Red Ken's thrown his hat into the ring for Mayor of London (which should please Rob I heaps)..so Boris had better cull the bendies rapido ... they're a f**king menace and are invariably 1/8th full even during peak hours!

PS - The Met wouldn't take kindly to gun toting townies parading the streets of London - or indeed hunt horses dumping in bus lanes whilst the hounds run amok!!

Except that the Met (along with the Household Cavalry) are the ones who ride horses in Central London dumping in the bus lanes and elsewhere but I agree they would not welcome the competition.

A quick glance shows he was here until December 2013. I think Merlin has him beat on the meltdown

With Merlin you knew it was going to happen.

Allan had been posting quietly away on C4 for years, dissecting stats, and arguing the relative merits of Davidson and some English no-hoper, before coming here and suddenly revealing himself to be a scorbutic fan of undressed pre-teen Disney actresses, the NRA, and the Nazi party.

To me the Merlin surprise is that it was over such a small issue. Of course the fact that he was crazier than Trump was an indication.

Always had a soft spot for AD.
