Wallabies v Boks Empty Wallabies v Boks

Post by Mick Sawyer Sat 24 Jul 2010, 04:34

One team has been bashed & beaten over the last 2 weeks.

The other team is inexperienced, undersized & hasn't played for a month.

It's on tonight, I'm excited.

If we can't win this we may as well forfeit the rest of the series.

Story here is that Fox will be compelling Brendon Cannon to apologise to Div at the beginning on the broadcast tonight. If it happens, I'll be flaming the Fox inbox.

You'd reckon, but I honestly don't know. The ABs were brilliant, the Boks weren't in either game. What does that mean for tonight? Feck all I'd say. The Boks will fire up. Victor will insist. They'll believe they can win & the lead will be gone from their boots. Ruan Pienaar will be the catalyst for a hugely improved effort.

The Wallabies, what chance? Even money & no better. There's lowish cloud but it should be a dry ball. Elsom is massively overdue for a contribution ball in hand. I'm confident Genia will be ready. To win him & Cooper must excel.

Fourie yes.

The word around is that Bismarck can be a disruptive force

But both he and his brother are out of the Sharks and on their way to Melbourne

It's been on the cards for some time. It might explain the Sharks successful season.

Will see if I can scare something up.

The coach?

Fourie and Devilliers back at centre.

Frans Steyn back from France.

A scrummie who can pass more than 5 metres.

Juan Smith.

A lobotomy for Bakkies.

The coach? Given the politics, that's gotta be unlikely.

Fourie and Devilliers back at centre. Not options for this match. Fourie is a massive loss.
Frans Steyn back from France. Talking of head cases as I was earlier, what his story? Wants to make his bundle before an injury intervenes?
A scrummie who can pass more than 5 metres. aye, that's an asset. Pienaar will set a very different tone tonight.

Juan Smith. yep, him or Brousow (sp?)
A lobotomy for Bakkies. Dekkers is a better package.A bullet for Bakkies.

Correct unfortunately. We won the TN despite him last year.

Steyn is still a youngster. Will be back for the WC and should be better for his French experience.

Brossouw is more a like for like replacement for Burger. Doesn't get though Smith's work in the tight/loose.

Bekker appears to be a bit soft to me. Can't play him and Matfield in the same team.
