Aus doing it surprisingly (to me) comfortably at Half Time, 17-3.

Re: Wallabies v Boks
Boks have got a try, I see. Can't see if 23-8 is a current or final score.
Surprised that the Wallos are still ahead. What have they done right?
And six penalties for them (so far) - is it the usual reason, Bok forward "indiscipline"? Or is the ref just biased?
Boks need to take a lesson from the Pom forwards on how to stay within the laws

Wallos also score a try, converted. Is that match over? Or have the Boks got a couple of tricks up their sleeves yet?

30-13 with a minute on the clock. Safe to say Aus is home.

All over. Boks pride battered again? Or were the Wallos outstanding?

Re: Wallabies v Boks
Aus ran the ball at every opportunity and caught the Boks out regularly hence the huge number of penalty goals (6).

That's not exactly huge for the Boks - outside South Africa at least.

It sounds like good tactics from Oz anyway. Did their homework.
As they did against NZ in the WC a few years back, when Lomu was in his prime and the ABs looked unbeatable. Marked closely, tackled like furies, and threw sand in the well-oiled juggernaut gears and wheels that day. Different tactics, but sound homework and training again.

Yeah. Not great news. It takes a great flyhalf performance to beat the blecks & we've got them twice with Cooper out.
Fourie was also suspended. Annoyingly, I haven't caught a mention of Berger being cited.

It's bad huh? I haven't watched anything played there. Maybe the blecks won't notice that Cooper's not playing.

And the Kiwis are used to playing on slippery tracks too. Good news week.

Players couldn't keep their feet when changing direction, some even slipped when they planted their foot to kick.
Some talking heads suggested that the worst patches were on the flanks so it wouldn't effect the rugger but I saw enough incidents down the guts for it to be a worry

Actually the bitching in the paper this morning suggested the worst area was slap bang in the middle of the field and huge.

hmmm. That ain't good for the paying punters. Keep thinking it might (somehow) better our chances in this match.

Re: Wallabies v Boks
It's like t20, the slippery surface increases the 'luck' factor, which means skill becomes less relevant. Which is good, because the ABs have shedloads more skill than the Wobblies.Mick Sawyer wrote:G.Wood wrote:Mick Sawyer wrote:G.Wood wrote:WTF is a rugby scrum going to do to that indoor paddock in melbourne?
