Here

Despite taking 79 wickets that season and attracting the interest of Australian selectors, Warne could not keep his place at Thorneyholme Road. "He was popular with spectators but the committee decided that he didn't get enough runs," recalls Barratt disbelievingly.

Perhaps 'Interesting' should be put into the forum glossary. Suggested definition: 'A subject one forumer finds worth repeating, but very few others usually find as riveting.'

There are 20 threads where 'Interesting' is the first word of the subject, and another couple wwhich start 'An interesting' or 'Very interesting', that come up in a search for 'Interesting'. Of those 22, only 2 made it past the second page of discussion.

Not saying your article isn't interesting, taips, just that the use of the word interesting in a thread title seems to force attention away from the thread.

Zoggy definitely missed out on a r00t over the weekend. Everything that has appeared on the forum in the past 24 hours is sh!t to him.

Lighten up, Emperor. Cool

And stick your "interesting" definition in the Glossary Update thread. It's "interesting."

Whenever he was in any difficulties he'd always call me up. That included things like boils on his bum or car breakdowns."

PMSL...

Top article that one. It does make you wonder what one of the local players in the legendary Wingello v Bowral match all those years ago would say about it today.

Also, PMSL at the "Comments" in that article - especially the first guy to complain that SRT wasn't mentioned.

I do remember Hilda waxing imaginatively over the end of Andy Bichel. Trev/Henry might have wished for and lusted after a few too, But most of the players’ end articles in the media related to Warnie and where he had been putting his.

Any threads with “boring” in the title? If so, did they do better? Wink
