Apparently it wasn't the contact that irked Riaz so much, as the subsequent ten minutes Trott spent marking out his guard on Wahab's chest before he was ready to strike again...

unfortunate but the animosity between the 2 teams has led to some very good cricket in the ODI series.

Surely Trott deserves a ban for a few games.

I like Trott - he's a real throwback cricketer. Doesn't give a sh!t about the team, he's just out there scoring runs for himself in his own good time. Can't really field. Has some kind of OCD. And is a bit mental - aside from his latest scrape, he allegedly went into total meltdown out in SA when Sidebottom sconned him with a bouncer in the nets in the build up to the final Test and proceeded to bat like an absolute lunatic when the game got underway, making 5 and 8 in a flurry of flailing.
