Barring injury, India will be unchanged. For the Windies, perhaps Barath for Powell.

I doubt Yuvraj will be shown the door, at leat for this test.
Dhoni is known for being stubborn in dropping someone after just 1 failure (I know Yuvraj has been a failure in tests overall but I guess Dhoni doesn't view his case as such) so don't harbour any hopes of seeing Kohli/Rahane in whites anytime soon which I think would be a shame because as I stated in the first test thread, Yuvraj would be a sitting duck in Aus and it makes sense to allow Rahane/Kohli to settle down a bit in test cricket in lesser hostile environment which is the case with these tests against WI.

Kohli should be given a chance before the Australia tour. He looks calm and mature for his age. I think he will be able to carry over his one day success to the test format unlike a certain Yuvraj Singh

Great comment on cricinfo,

Gambhir gone for 65. Tendulkar has not so hot record at Eden, only 3 tons in 28 innings (tests+ODIs).

Dravid's Indian summer continues.
I wish Ponting had an Indian summer.

No DRS saves SRT again - Ponting will be spewing...
43.1
Bishoo to Tendulkar, no run, 82.1 kph, heart-stopping moment for many as there's a big appeal for lbw, Tendulkar looked to sweep that one, pitching on middle and off, and hit him on off, that was very close, umpire's turned it down down, height also not an issue there

About 2-3 years back, Ponting looked quite far ahead of Dravid. And at present the situation is exactly reverse. Dravid is looking completely different batsman than he was in SA earlier this year.
May be CA should convince ECB and advance '13 Ashes by an year and allow Ponting to rediscover himself just like Dravid did during our Eng tour. Problem is that Ponting isn't as good as Dravid is in Eng.

Whenever someone talk about his batsmanship in that SA series unsurprisingly this never gets mentioned. It saved him a few times in SA too.
This is the first time someone is mentioning it.
Wonder why?

3/5 top bats this year are from Eng.
Aus enters at no. 16. Though they've not played as many tests as Eng and Ind did this year.

It certainly was at the time. Interestingly enough the commentators during the last test were saying that captains and icons of the game tend to get a better run from the umpires when they alone are making the decisions.

So you agree this has nothing to do with the presence or absence of DRS as every top sportsperson generally benefits from umpires? He has been unlucky with umpiring a lot of times as well. Surprisingly, you didn't mention it.
More often than not, its all equal in the end.

So here goes Tendulkar for identical score as that of Sehwag.
