Re: Australian JAMODI squad
In general though between 2006 and 2008, Symonds was picked in the test team with mixed results whilst Hodge and his test average of close to 56 was ignored.

Re: Australian JAMODI squad
Invers has told all state coaches to be on the lookout for someone who beyond the stats might offer the team something in the future according to Craddock on the radio this morning.
It's hard to know whether or not Ferguson was told he was lazy but certainly has been informed that his first class record is not up to scratch. In the ODI mode he's the polar opposite of Forrest but maybe they're trying to kill two birds with the one stone as Invers as pointed out they will probably need a couple of young test batsmen within the next 15 months. So first class form is driving ODI selection.
The other point about Ferguson is that his modest record comes from someone whose home ground is the Adelaide featherbed.

Ok fair enough.
But at least i'm sure we can both agree that Hodge was bitter.

You were probably right about why Hodge was bitter ...but the FRV was too stupid to blame the right person

It's way too much to expect him to blame himself!

and Haddin was asked if he was rested and (to his credit) he said nah I see it as being dropped
Every newspaper in the country is carrying the story of Haddin saying he was dropped not rested. Looks like they all read my posts to source their articles.
I guess it is conceivable that they heard him on the wireless like I did but that seems far fetched

Re: Australian JAMODI squad
Forrest was shyte in the BBL. We can only hope he does better in the (slightly) longer form.

Peter Forrest? WTF?
And why bother with Huss and Punter any more.
Reason 1 - To deprive the Bulls of their best batsman in the remaining Shield matches
Reason 2 - Because he is excellent at making drinks.
Reason 3 - Because of a very slight resemblence to Ernie Els. But it is VERY slight & only in at a couple of angles.

I'd give Derpina Healy a run before Haddit.
