What's NTR?!
And did I miss much in Red's cookery class??!!
I see Nidge is as reticent as ever.
Basically before and throughout the entire SA/Aus series, Red kept banging on and on and on and on about SA being undercooked because they'd barely played any FC cricket in the last 12 months.
Well Trev was accusing me of NSR.

From a Pakistani point of view this series was a revenge and redemption of Headingly 06, Oval 06 and most importantly Lords 2010.
England is still an excellent team and will do a lot better in India and SL.

Aye, I see it as PERFECT revenge for your team not coming out after tea at the Oval in '06. We were horrible to have nothing to do with your team not walking out. Our batsmen walked to the crease, I suppose they should've stayed in the hutch....
Re: Pakistan v England- The post mortem
They got the runs in one sense only.

The runs they got were more in the two sense.

Remind me. Was there any cheating involved in that game?

People remember Oval 06 but Headingly is forgotten when in reality Oval may have never happened had Headingly not happened.Brass Monkey wrote:Aye, I see it as PERFECT revenge for your team not coming out after tea at the Oval in '06. The 2010 Lords test put Pakistan cricket at rock bottom. To restore any kind of confidence they had to win almost every game with limited resources due to bans/jail time and that is EXACTLY what happened during this series i.e they won every single game. The wounds of Lords may not fully heal for years or perhaps decades to come but the signs are quite positive.

Nothing sinister.
Just inflicted heavy defeats during the home series of 06 and 10
