Use Wade as the keeper. Haddit can bludge at 1st slip.

I think they'll give it to Warner. No point in making him v-c if they didn't contemplate him stepping into the breach at some point.

Warner needs to concentrate on justifying his spot in the Aussie ODI side before he starts thinking about things like captaincy. He averages 20 in 13 ODIs so far in his career.

Agree about Warner too. And despite all the hype surrounding him this summer he's done very little apart from the Perth hurricane knock.

Interesting to hear Channel 9 whingeing about Sachin and Hussey not playing.

Ironic though that India wins when Sachin and his hundred 100s doesn't play.

sunning the old bones on sth coast nsw...fishing, swimming, camping, eating, boozing, smoking (some good cigars)...most of the good thigs ending in 'ing'...have happily missed the jamodis thus far...but back in the nursing home - matron already unhappy with aspects of my behaviour (she is a pomgolian - still smarting from the slaughter by the Stanlanders)

I understand that Wade has played fairly well...clearly that is why Hildy never selected him

I'm off next weekend for much of the same. Up to the sunny east coast for some fishing around Maria Island.

fantastic...take a good fridge or ice box...

we were lucky this year and fed our camp every 2nd night on everything from gars through to good sized Kingfish...cooked every way you can imagine - french, spanish italian mexican and grilled...we even remembered and used the wasabi!!!

Sounds great. One of my mates has a weekender on the coast so we use that as a base. No worries about catching our limit. Only problem is deciding on the winelist.
