Re: Draw Something - how did I not know about this?
My boss was squealing about this, I think. Is it some new-fangled Farcebook link-up jizzle?
Re: Draw Something - how did I not know about this?
I think it's a format spanner.
I've just been kicking arse and taking names merely by using this online version.
Too addictive. Need. To. Stop.

I may try it. I got too addicted to Akinator the other week, basically wasted my life for two days.

I'm bored. No one else in pub and cricket is delayed.

It's a diversion for those who have a life.

I was addicted to it for two weeks and then suddenly, abruptly, I got bored of it. Haven't played it for three days now.

Try it, kiddies. It requires you to actually grasp a pencil, draw on real paper and spend time in the same room as other people. And it's even a bit fun.

Re: Draw Something - how did I not know about this?
But I guess who has time for that? It would involve getting off your fat spotty arse, making your way to a mutual friend's place, unpacking the Pictionary game, god-forbid, sharpening some pencils, and undertaking the heinous and strenuous task of throwing dice and drawing pictures manually. Impossibru...

I mean, yeah, I'm a Luddite. I really am. But old skully takes it to hysterical levels. Maybe it is like Pictionary. I expect the point is that people can play with whoever, whenever without the need for tangible people, paper, pens or a great deal of time.
FFS, next thing you'll be decrying FIFA 2012 by saying 'buy a football, kick it against your back wall.'
You silly, bitter old goat.

Re: Draw Something - how did I not know about this?
Not at all, Dan. People can and will do whatever their lazy arses wanna do. But I don't think it's unreasonable to encourage human beans to mix with real life human beans, rather than cyber beans. Perhaps I am an old fogie, but I get a kick out of sharing a glass and a laugh with real life good friends and staggering out 3/4 cut with my hosts laughing at me.
i-Gen is so sterile, to the point where they can live their whole week without interacting with a real bean. Sad.

Being a bit presumptuous, wouldn't you say. Quezzy: 3am, you fancy a game of Pictionary, what do you do?
BTW, I'd rather play Pictionary online and then go and get f*ckfaced with my mates.

Re: Draw Something - how did I not know about this?
Good luck to you, Dan. I have a contrary view. I wouldn't waste my time playing the game on line, much preferring to play the real game over a few beers and wines and laughs. To each their own.

Re: Draw Something - how did I not know about this?
Aye, maybe when I'm your age man. If I asked if some people wanted to come round for a game of Pictionary, I'd be getting some disturbed responses.
Re: Draw Something - how did I not know about this?
Does anyone want to meet me somewhere in Hampshire for a game of Pictionary?
I'm assuming you've got nothing better going on in your life and imagine a four hour or so round trip is a perfectly reasonable price to pay for around ten minutes of board game fungasms.
You can't travel by car or train though. It's good old fashioned walking or nothing, you i-Generation ninny.
