green cap for Bubbles
now mabo as well as fleas is talking up Bubbles as the next in line for a green cap...mabo was comprehensively bowled yesterday by bubbles and maybe to cover his embarassment has declared bubblesthe next big thing...fleas credited bubbles with being a matchwinner for the blues this season and a prime reson for them topping the ladder...
34 wickets @ 14.4 is a useful return...has he improved or are state bats getting out to him because they underrate his bowling?

Re: green cap for Bubbles
For the other pure speed spot he has to be at least drawing level with Tait.
Bubbles might be worth a one-day spot but neither him nor Spud will play test cricket this summer unless Johnno falls in a hole.

Re: green cap for Bubbles
Inness and Magoffin have both had good seasons for the Wozzies so far ...and Honky took some wickets in the last game (hopefully he is over his injuries)

If they were still playing SL the forum would already be full of whining from 'Squash Ball Kid' about the sun bouncing off Bubbles's bald head into the batsman's eyes.

No. zimmy didn't play for Australia because he is a talentless gimp who would go home crying of "pinched fingers" every time the ball managed to hit his bat . . .

skully, still clinging to the deluded hope that if they pick a baldy, he might be able to tie him up in the rooms and take his place unnoticed for a session...skully wrote:Bubbles is no farkin chance. A bald Aussie Test fast bowler - how embarrassment.
