Re: KP might consider ODI comeback if schedule is rearranged
He drops the IPL and the schedule isn't a problem. KP is probably higher paid that most of his international counterparts so it's a bit disingenuous to blame the ECB. Anyway the team seemed quite harmonious without him.

I'm not certain they'll go back to him straightaway. Possibly six months down the line whenif there seems some deficiencies in some of our batting in the SubC.
I do think this means they'll take him to the T20WC, though. I'm ambivalent about that really, we're getting a possibly disruptive brilliant player.

I'd be ok with it if he was more honest.

Yeah, definitely. I mean, I agree as well, it must be a nightmare... but if your traditional downtime will be ruined by the IPL then tough tits chuckles... you're the one with the Ferrari and mansion...

But let's face it ... do any number of fast high-status cars, gigantic habitations, knicker-chucking women, more cash than you can count, untold fame and an unconditionally adoring public really make you happy?

Suspect KP is desperately unhappy that England did not miss him during the recent series. 4-0 without your help, Kevin. Twat.

No. They make you want England to not play because of it.

Re: KP might consider ODI comeback if schedule is rearranged
KP should shut the f*ck up. "No one looks after me, the schedule is too much....change the whole schedule for ME, look after ME, because I AM English cricket, and people want to see ME, and maybe I WILL consider a return."
Erm, no one is holding a gun to your head and forcing you to sign an England contract. You could not sign it, and then pick and choose when you are available. But oh wait. You know as soon as you do that, English cricket fans will turn on you like a pack of wolves, and the England team would rather drop you and live without you than have to carry some self obsessed dick who will disrupt the team. And England doesn't look after you? FFS, with your central contract, you earn around 500,000 pounds a year, not including match fees. Even if you get injured and can't play the whole time, so shut up about them not looking after you.
Quit the IPL Kevin. End of. You drama Queen twat.

He's rich enough. He'll already never, ever have to think about money again - even if he smashed it. It's the height of greed. Flower's comments were pretty ambiguous, but I don't see him weaseling his way back in. I may have abided by his whinge were he not to have mentioned the IPL and the CL (even though they'd have been there in my mind anyway) but to actually cite these pop-gun tournaments as a reason the entire England schedule should change - well, my squealy fan-love has turned into just tolerance of him.

KP will play all three formats again if they allow him to miss test matches to play the whole of the IPL season.

Good luck with that, KP.
Looks like we may not see him too much more in an England shirt then.

Aye, goodbye Kev.
I don't actually begrudge him chasing the $$$$ but if that is his sole motivating factor behind cricket these days i'd fark him right off from all England teams.

The England team will survive, no doubt much to KP's annoyance.

Shame that he wasn't big-mouthing when he was out of form. Didn't hear a peep out of him. He was all humility incarnate. As Lever said, it's causing a stink, I'd rather just have shot of him. I'll gravely miss his batting, but I'd rather not hear from him in spates of whinging.

Interesting to see that Red is still obsessed with Smith despite his marriage and forthcoming child.

Then why have not not quoted everyone else's views on the matter?

Re: KP might consider ODI comeback if schedule is rearranged
I wouldn't be surprised if this all comes to a head very soon and KP is sensationally dumped from England's test squad. I just can't imagine Flower and Strauss tolerating any selfish, money-minded antics from KP, which would risk unsettling a very stable squad.
