Some real cricket to balance the overload of the plastic stuff.

Wasn't intentionally being patronising, just haven't seen you commenting on much of it.skully wrote:Really?

I've posted a few comments, vilks, but given I'm asleep when most of the play is on (I get up at 4.45 am to go to work so only get to see the 1st session at best), I generally just post a summary of my thoughts when I get to work or get up on the weekend.

Wonder when Ian Smith will blow his load about Guptill again? Decent effort considering how shite they were in the warm up match.

Oh, and I see a Wagner in their side as well, along with Strauss and Elgar it seems international cricket is getting something of a classical look to it these days...

Pretty fair start by the Sheep. 2-210 into the final session of Day 1.

2 late wickets for the Windies makes honours even on day 1. Guptill choked in the shadow of Stumps and in the shadow of a ton, going for the heave-ho off Narine on 97 with just 2 overs left in the day.
Sheep 4-234 at Stumps Day 1.

For some reason I thought the Kiwis would crumble, but it's an OK effort overall.. Narine's wickets nicely balances it though.
Re: West Indies v New Zealand, 1st Test, North Sound, 25-29 July, 2012
Scoring was a little slow but a steady start by NZ.
