Pakistan v Australia ODI series in Sharjah and Abu Dhabi
So because of the heat, they're starting the games at 6pm and finishing at 2am?? That's a bit extreme, isn't it? I wonder how they'll tune their body clocks to that....

The scheduling? Or the players not being able to handle the heat?

Perhaps, and I know that back in 2002 Aus played Pakistan at Sharjah in similar heat. But 48 degrees during the day....that doesn't sound very pleasant at all.

that was in october, which is on average 6 degrees cooler than august
its very, very tough to play in those conditions. i have been in delhi during 45 degrees heat and it's incredibly hard to even walk for half an hour

So this has to go down as a ridiculously scheduled series then. There's so many of them these days.

Re: Pakistan v Australia ODI series in Sharjah and Abu Dhabi
well the aussies wanted it cancelled. then the pakistanis changed it to more t20s and less odis along with much later starts. boards fulfilling obligations and the players will have to just suck it up
a bit crazy to go through all of that for just a limited overs tour
