Ajmal, a blatant chucker, should not be mentioned on the same page, let alone in the same breath.
This is where you and many others on this forum are being disrespectful to the game.
There is no doubt that he chucks it a little bit but minor chucking has become a part of the game since MM. There are lots of others bowlers like Harbhajan and Botha who are chuckers but their skill level is no where near that of Saeed Ajmal. Admittedly even Ajmal can't match Saqlain in the skill department but then again no man before or AFTER Saqlain has ever been to successfully bowl the doosra.

ajmal is way better than saqlain IMO. saqlain was no more a threat (at least against india) after his first couple of years, when the doosra was a real surprise. ajmal i think would trouble pretty much everyone. maybe since he chucks it a lot more

So chucking is acceptable to Pakistani fans ... no surprise there.
The only 'disrespect to the game' shown on this thread is the acceptance of chucking.
If Armstrong's 7 tour wins can go, the records of chuckers should also be expunged.

Once again you are being disrespectful to the game by comparing him to Armstrong.
He is not breaking any rules as slight chucking is allowed in the game these days. Only reason why it is a big deal is because he is good, if he was an average bowler like Botha or Samules then no one would have cared. Admire the skill as a true cricket fan.

He got around 25 wickets in 3 tests vs India in 1999 which was after 4 years of international cricket. During those 4 years he must have played at least 15 ODIs vs India( 3 Sahara cups).

Agreed 100%. Chucking and ball tampering has always been acceptable to Pakistani fans.
