This is also Tendulkar's 8th test ton against Australia, level with Sutcliffe. Only Hobbs (12), Gower, Lara, Hammond and Richardson (9 each) are ahead of him in that regard.

that was a seriously poor session by Aust. Poor catching, bowling, fielding and captaincy. Aust have thrown this match away and are some risk of losing it.

Hopefully they at least try and get sashin out after tea rather than giving him singles.

There comes a point when you can't just target the tailender, surely when they have put on nearly 100 that's the point when you treat both as batsmen and try to get either out.

Dunno - listening to Richie on the ABC after the statue in his honor was unveiled (and immediately started making more sense than Lawry, and showing more personality than Larse and more animation than Chappelli).

It's as sloppy as we have been in the field for a long long time.

Have to wait and see if it carried over into the batting.
