McCullum will be pissed off . . . 80 of 28 balls and no chance of a ton!

Not half as pissed off as the good people of Queenstown who paid to see a decent day's cricket.
Mind you, if they paid to watch Bangladesh - more fool them!

Quite impressive of McCullum to engineer facing 28 of 36 balls.

Should be the entire Bangers team to show us how to lose a match in 6 overs.

Why do other countries bother with playing Bangladesh? They are worse than an embarrassment to the game.

Didn't they make the Super 8's at India's expense?

Emphasises the flukey nature of the OD game, where sometimes luck will overcome skill.
If I really felt like it, I'd do a statistical analysis of the Bangles performances, but I can't see the point in proving that they are utter shite.
It's entirely possible that they are actually worse for cricket than NZ were in their early years.

The Bangles really don't seem to be getting any better.
Yesterday was an embarrassment to the game given how the NZ side themselves have recently been smashed by Saf and Aust.

There is a massive difference between Bangladesh at their best, and Bangladesh at their worst. Imo they've shown enough in the last 18 months to suggest that they'll get better soon. Their under 19's consistently beat the likes of England and Australia, so surely some of that talent has to transfer to the top stuff at some stage.

NZ will effectively be fielding their second string pace attack for the first test due to injury. If Bangladesh are going to spring a surprise - and it would be a big one if they were to win - it has to be now.

No way are they going to win a test in NZ. Just don't have the batsmen to do it.

NZ pitches (operated on) second string pace attack --> first string pace attack
