Re: HAPPY NEW YEAR
Given that 2007 was much the same as 2006, which was much the same as 2005, I suspect someone's doing a roaring trade in second-hand years and passing them off as new.
But happy 08 anyway.

Re: HAPPY NEW YEAR
And why not? Clearly getting some practice in for to(morrow)night.
Note the clever use of brackets to take account of the potential time difference. You wouldn't think I was shit-faced too would you?

The sad thing is, I have to be up for work in less than six hours - I must be mad.

Re: HAPPY NEW YEAR
Thanks Basil.
I'm still contemplating my costume for the evening.
I wouldn't mind just staying in, TBH.

Re: HAPPY NEW YEAR
I'm staying in: not only are some pubs charging for admission tomorrow night, some of them are lumping 50p per drink on to their prices. The spirit of Dick Turpin lives!!

Re: HAPPY NEW YEAR
Just got back from watching the Sydney harbour fireworks - terrific as usual. It is a beautfiul night in Sydney - about 20C and basically cloudless. Let's hope the weather stays like that for the next 6 days.
