Bloody sad and pathetic....

In a world of Shame Warnes and Mike Tysons, where women scandals are unquestionable spoils of stardom, there are also sportsmen who pay the price for their rise and potential and get painted as women abusers because they are someone famous merely on a woman's word. Are we living in an age of stereotypes where a sportsman accused of wrong doping is presumed to be a spoilt arrogant tosspot who must be guilty? This case comes as a real eye opener where an aspiring and rising football player lost 10 years of his young life to false rape charges.

TBH I always thought Tyson got screwed over.

Its pretty much a fact of life that in rape cases the accused is considered guilty until proven innocent.

except sharia courts ! they don't consider the rapist guilty until the victim provides 4 witnesses. 

Even then there could be doubts. To top it, they recently invalidated DNA evidence too.

Yeah..in fact the victim is more likely to be convicted for 'enticing' the assailant. Sharia law belongs back in the dark ages.

The ugly thing is everyone made money out of it - the girl, the lawyers and now the high school in question! Except the poor sod who wasted a decade of his peak life in darkness of shame.

In Islam the raped girl would be termed a slag involving in un-Islamic sexual relations with men and stoned to death for maligning 'respectable' people.
