Brad Haddin - that was stone motherless plumb.
Channel 9 arseholes not showing the Rogers replay
Lyon never looked out
Harris walked when pinned, then waited when given not out, then walked when he saw the first replay

Wasted opportunity for Aust there.
Can't believe they didn't review the Lyon lbw.
About 40 short I reckon.
Oh well.

Yeah sporadic showers it looks like. Should halt play for 15 minutes tops.

Root's looking all over the shop ATM. There has been a bit of variable bounce, though.

On the other hand, there's no swing or seam at all ... well, not in comparison to yesterday.

Well, this is all looking very benign. 400 for England by midway thru tomorrow should put the game away.

Jaffa from Harris to remove Root.

Prophetic. Uprooted by peachy nut if ever we saw it. If Anderson had bowled that the commentators would be drowning in semen. Harris is so unlucky to be bedeviled by injury.Brass Monkey wrote:Root's looking all over the shop ATM. There has been a bit of variable bounce, though.

What is Mikey on? Calling this as Australia's session, bizarre.

Um, I think there was quite a bit of semen flowing about the delivery. Been pretty semeny about Harris full-stop.Red wrote: If Anderson had bowled that the commentators would be drowning in semen.

England certainly had the better of the session. If things had gone better for Australia they could have been staring down the barrel of a lead approaching a ton. That would have been huge in the context of the match. Losing Haddin and Rogers early was not what was needed.

Not this morning. Three decisions to make, got them all wrong. If it weren't for DRS Australia would still be out there batting and England would be building effigies of the useless qunt.taipan wrote:Fark me. Has Hill got one decision right in this test?

He was at the business end when Harris did the business on Root. The ICC will say he got 25% of his decisions right; it may actually be better as I think there were a couple of fairly optimistic/frivolous England appeals which he correctly gave not out.Dello wrote:Not this morning. I say this to emphasise that the oft-quoted 93% and 97% figures are inflated by all the really easy out and not out decisions.

Number 3? Obviously NOT Hughes, Khawaja, or Cowan.
Worth trying Shaun Marsh again? Or just pick either Doolan or Burns, and stick with him.

But they haven't stuck by PH or UK yet so why bring in another youngster to destroy their career?lardbucket wrote:Number 3? Obviously NOT Hughes, Khawaja, or Cowan.
