Aye, just been watching a few overs. Taylor is giving it a real go. I don't think the Zimbots will do it but they might cause some anxiety in the SA ranks.

Taylor gone.

India and Pakistan collectively have four bowlers who consistently bowl faster than England's quicks.

I suspect even Aussie fans would be interested to see this great rivalry taking place in front of a full house on home soil.
They don't have the rights. Plus all Aussies only care about the Aussie games, McNamara knows that.
Really??, would have hoped to see this on FTA plus for those from the Sub continent who don't have Cable.
they can watch on illegal streams and bet accordingly

Pakistan's batting strength appears to be the late order hitting (if the warm up games are any guide)

Looks like all the teams batting first will win. Two of them were sent in.

It's like a conspiracy.
As an aside, fair play to Zimbabwe, that was quite the effort
Re: World Cup 2015
If only England had someone of the calibre of Misbah ul Haq.
Excellent captain and batsman who paces his innings perfectly.
Just a shame there isn't anyone in the Paksters team who isn't headstrong that could keep him company.

The Akmal decision?
Steve Davis can't even get it right as 3rd umpire.

Yeah, that was another stunner, hence my 'conspiracy' comment. It's like the umpires are paid to act like fockwits so that India's ridiculous stance is in somehow (but not really at all) vindicated

Jadeja to Umar Akmal, OUT, Dhoni has reviewed this. Sharp turn for Jadeja on a quick delivery. Akmal is forward, is beaten by the turn, Dhoni thinks he has edged it, and goes up immediately after breaking the wicket. He is dead sure there is an edge. The stumping was just to be sure. Not given by the umpire. The ball seems to have altered its path a smidgen as it passes the bat, but there is hardly a spike on the snicko. We don't know what long discussion between Kettleborough and the third umpire is, but he has reversed his decision in the end. Was there enough evidence to overturn the on-field call? Maybe not. Did I instinctively think there was an edge? Maybe yes
<<<
That does sound like a very strange overcall.
Would the stumping have been out anyway?
