It appears likely that Bangladesh will be able to claim an unbeaten series v Saffieland; it will help their 'ratings'.

Wouldn't be a surprise if they're closing in on the West Indies in Tests as well within a couple of years.

In fairness I think South Africa were probably saved by the rain in the first match. Bangladesh has been competitive.

Evidently it is the longest rainy season in decades so everything has conspired against this series.

Will the two sides gamble on a double forfeit if play is possible tomorrow?

Yeah, he will be nicknamed Hans-eem Amla if he does that... with the ranking points hit they will take from a 0-0 series though, there must be half a temptation to engineer a chase.
Not that Australia are exactly taking advantage at the moment, of course... but someone else could come up on the rails before that drops off the scores that count.
I suspect the weather will make it a non-issue anyway...

Does Amla want a leather jacket badly enough?

Yarpsters lose 5 ranking points from this, won't damage their position immediately but is likely to do so whenever someone emerges from the pack in the next few years.
