Bangladesh v Australia 2015
http://www.cricket.com.au/news/australia-tour-of-bangladesh-october-two-tests-dhaka-chittagong-fatullah/2015-08-02
A three-day tour match, and two tests.
It's been nearly a decade since Australia last played a test versus Bangladesh. The first test of that series was a real "one that got away" for Bangladesh, they should have had us.
Hopefully a) there will be decent weather and b) there will be a decent contest.

Re: Bangladesh v Australia 2015
Announcing the tour just two months before it's scheduled to go ahead seems a bit late notice. The Bangers will be no walkover for Aus.

October should be reasonable. November to around April was the best time in Kolkata, but Australia won't be available then.lardbucket wrote:It'll probably rain for 4 of 5 days.

Fekete?
Well that's a bit left-field. And a blow for James Pattinson, who obviously didn't impress in the ODIs.

Maybe they think Pattinson will be better off continuing to train in Aust rather than travel around Bangladesh.

Have to agree. SOK is not worth another go. And What the Fekete?
This team looks like a JAMODI squad with a few newbies.

not intended as such. the selectors might not care so much about results as giving a few people a go on the international stage. which is good cos i can see the whole thing blowing up in their faces

he's better off trying to get some cricket under his belt (grade, one day domestic, Shield)

Fekete?
Nothing wrong with that selection given some of the others the selectors have come up with in the past. Fekete had an outstanding Shield season & did ok on the Aust A tour. He's obviously just there as a backup but i think his selection can be justified.
