Officially I stop work for the year on the 22nd, but I've been on autopilot since November....

Has Furri Enterprises got an outlet in Oz?
Zimmy needs competition, besides a good share of his production bore an unfortunate resemblance to me.
I would like to invest in the oz franchise of Furri Enterprises.

depends on why you do it i guess. this was more about saving a life than from any real wish or financial ability to retireskully wrote:Aye, I'm 6 months in myself. My motives were the same as yours, ETG. Although I had managed the pennies to the point where there's enough to live comfortably on for a good while to come. My little brother wisely told me (during a time of high worry and stress in my life) that you only get one go at life so may as well do whatever you need to to extend it and enjoy it. Probably the wisest advice anyone has ever given me.

Semi-retired since 2008, but may use the "break" to get some crap out of the way and free up January a bit.

Work is good for old blokes like me. 2 or 3 days is good for me. Played craps the other day and won half my years spending. Am a bit frightened. Have a large amount of cas and banked quadruple that via cheque. Too much time and I would give it back.

Rostered off Dec 24-28, my First Christmas in about 6 years not working, if it remains that way is another question.

In my finest cod Nigerian accent:
Hello Meeester Horaaccce,
My name is General Umobdji and I would like to put $20 million into your bank account and give you 10% of it in 3 months time.
Please email me your bank details immediately my good friend.

Both hilarious.
Especially 2 Finance Ministers inside of a week - your country's ruling elite are something else.

Seems to have been a unilateral decision. But if you dare to criticise the ruling elite it is racist apparently.
