Interesting article in Spiv Sunday paper
Indian bad boys
"THEY have protested their innocence throughout the recent racism saga - but India are the worst-behaved team in world cricket."
and
"Overall, Indian players have been charged for 43 infringements since 1997, for offences including intimidating umpires, abusing rival players, ball tampering, time wasting and widespread dissent.
Of the present touring party, five have copped fines or suspensions - Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Virender Sehwag and Harbhajan Singh."
and
"Only Pakistan came close to India's ill-discipline with 39 offences, led by veteran batsman Inzamam-ul-Haq, who has been reprimanded 11 times;
Despite claims they have worse conduct issues than India, Australia are ranked fourth with 25 infringements. Glenn McGrath (six), Ricky Ponting (four), Adam Gilchrist (four) and Brett Lee (three) are the worst offenders"
Yeah, Australia have such a dreadful record for poor behaviour. Gold.

The fact that there is an interesting article in ANY Sunday paper, let alone one from Sidneyland, let alone in of all places the Little Sydney Paper For Stupid People, is a major headline in itself.

Skull
The point that Indian and Pakistani supporters would make is that they are no worse than any other nation/team in terms of perceived on field behaviour ( Slow over rates , over appealing , send offs etc ) and yet they all get punished more than any other nation/team...
'Just because you are paranoid doesn't mean people aren't trying to get you ...'

PMSL @ Harby...
Harbhajan has a history of poor conduct. The first of his five offences came in 1998, when he was fined 50 per cent of his match fee for abusing Australia skipper Ricky Ponting after having him stumped
Yeah, he never does the wrong thing...

And mb, that just shows that they are truly deluded to a high degree if they indeed believe that.

I dont know if they are deserved or not ...Everyone keeps talking about "cultural differences" ...Surely the BCCoarIab would be educating it's own players and the ICC and it's Officials as to the "cultural differences" and trying to stop the reports and bans and fines ....

Why bother when you can sook till the sacred cows come home, then get your subi-bloc mates to agree to back you, now matter how unresonable your protest?

yeah .. you need to take your insurance before anybody points out the obvious.
It's a fact that umpires/match-referees all over the world (esp from the anglo bloc) have been overwhelmingly harsh on the Indian team even for minor indescretions.
And then folks on this thread claim whenever Indians claim to be gain slightest upper hand it's due to BCCI's clout.
Either the BCCI has 'real' clout OR the anglo bloc and its lackeys from WI, SL (case in point is Match Referee Ranjan Madugalle who is a certified dhimmi) are riding roughshod all over the Indian team and cutting match fees if the likes of Sreesanth as much as sneeze on the field.
It's either this or that, it can't be both.

Funny you say that. Because they wouldn't transgress if the other team didn't provoke them in the first place.
Pity how much ICC officials are squint eyed and just prefer to see/hear one side of the story. It's as if they have an inbuilt bias against Indians.

Hang on, so no Indian, ever, has done done anything wrong, ever, without being provoked? Fark me, Sachin's ball-tampering must have been in response to something pretty devastating. You foolish excuse for a human being.

What's Sachin's ball-tampering got to do with poor onfield behaviour as exhibited in every close situation by Aus.

Re: Interesting article in Spiv Sunday paper
The reason I originally posted the thread (other to keep this fun humming along) was to indicate to those who had suggested Australia had "form" regarding poor behaviour, that our form is in fact not as bad as some other nationalities "form". I'm pretty sick of this "Australia has a perception of behaving badly". Since when did "perception of" and "actual" become synonyms.
