Link.

Guess the alternative is for a black actor to white up

More scandalously, is this the best title they could come up with?

It is currently titled Elizabeth, Michael and Marlon.

Liz, Mick & Sam?

Was thinking more along the lines of "Last Tarago to Paris".

It could have been a contender.

So Spotlight wins.

And on the day that George Pell appears before the Royal Commission as well!

Oscar's is watched all over the globe but it is something nobody could give a sh1t about regards content. Neither are the winners or nominations taken seriously in non-anglo world unless they make some point relevant to some special interests who could give a sh1t because it affects them in some way.

Oscars way way overrated for content.
Eg mad max fury .. Who gives a sh1t except maybe some ISIS types high on amphetamines.

So Leo broke his duck then. Well done him.

And I thought Christian Bale's performance in The Big Short was better than the dude's in Bridge of Spies in the Supporting Actor category.

On average, blacks have been well represented in Oscar nominations since the turn of the millennium.

Before that, not so much.

I will say that, like a lot of people, I totally thought Idris Elba was gypped, but that kind of weird outcome can also happen to white actors.

You should support the global movie industry, Skulls.
