England v Sri Lanka, 5x ODIs + 1xT20, 21 June - 5 July, 2016
You can also discuss the 2 JAMODIs between Ireland and Lanka on 16 & 18 June if you please.

Tymal Mills in the T20 squad - seriously quick. Such a pity his chronic back condition prevents him from playing the longer forms of the game.

Lanka heading for a lazy 300+ in their first JAMODI outing (v Erin) of the UK tour.

I don't quite get this. Sure, he has a back condition that probably rules out long spells of bowling, but why should it rule him out of the longer form altogether? Can't he just be used in 3-4 over spells?
Mills and Jamie Overton bowling in tandem would be an exciting prospect.

You've not seen Jamie bowl recently then - 85mph if you're lucky.

You wouldn't blame them for saying "fark this!!" and turning over to Euro.

I didn't. Slept happily sniggering at England. Wake up to see the score... Not nearly as fun sniggering at Sri Lankaembee wrote:Any poms still watching after 6/82?

Really just can't be arsed with this today. I'm sure it would take my mind off things but I'm just in a bit of a haze.

Aye, it all seems very unimportant.

Crikey, I wonder how many teams have made 250 and lost by 10 wickets???
Well done Engulund.

To answer my own question - this was the first time a team making 250+ lost by 10 wickets. Previous highest score to lose by 10 wkts was 235 by the WoeBots v Sheep in Harare last year.

Thought Sri Lanka against England in 2006 would be on that list. Tharanga and Jayasuriya put on some crazy score.
England looking quite decent.

I think you are referring to the 5th ODI on 1 July of the 2006 Lankan tour of Blighty. Eng made 7-321 then Jayasuriya (152) and Tharanga (109) put on 286 for the 1st wicket of the reply. They were both dismissed before SL won by 8 wickets (2-324).
Lanka won that JAMODI series 5-0!!
