England v Pakistan, 5xODIs + 1xT20, 24 Aug - 7 Sep, 2016
I know it's only a JAMODI but we've got to at least have a thread!
Absolute hammering really, the result never looked in doubt. Our ODI side is really starting to look quite handy, no doubt we'll suffer a load of injuries and loss of form when the world cup comes around but this is the strongest English ODI team I've ever seen.

Yep, historically C4 people have been purists so not much interest in Jamodis...
but yeah, absolute hammering. Pakistan haven't been able to transform to the changing ODI requirements. They still bat like 90s era. Slow start, build in middle overs and blast towards end which they were not able to do in the first ODI....

Another comfortable win for England. Well done them. Seems that Woakes kiddy did OK again.

Hales looks shot. I don't think he's up to international cricket either technically or mentally. He's forgotten how to just go out there and hit the ball. the simplest way is usually the best way

Wow.
I am not sure I am more amazed at England's score or that yet again Trev has shown the world his 'remarkable skills'.

Awww yihhh... isn't that just brilliant? Seriously?
Not the result, the manner of result or all the England records we've broken... just the general reverse Trevving?
It's exquisite. There has never been a man in my lifetime like Trevor 'Dr. Strange' Mudge.
The man is a force to be reckoned with. A wolf in sheep clothing. A suckerpunch in human form.
Hurdy f*cking gurdz.

Disappointingly Mick Lewis FFS's JAMODI record of 0-113 was not broken. Wahab went close with 0-110.

brilliant.
It's stupid to criticise when a team has scored the highest ever odi score, but think the score should've been around 460. Buttler seemed off after getting his 50. Still very good, of course, but he may have had a hundred yesterday at his best.

Aye, his powers are strengthening. He used to need a few weeks to destroy a career, but this only took 24 hours.

Caught up with it on the morning news. How often would a team post 275 and lose by over 160 runs?
Still think the 434 game is in a class of its own though. Never again have we seen a team chasing down such a mammoth total.

I don't think anyone was claiming this was one of the best ever ODIs. It was completely one sided.Red wrote:Caught up with it on the morning news. How often would a team post 275 and lose by over 160 runs?

Don't worry, you still have the record of being on the losing team in the best ODI ever.
