Another ton to Tom Latham. He rather likes the Bot bowling.

Tom Latham is the most New Zealand player around, isn't he? Nothing is more unmemorable in cricket than him. Just meh...
And cashing in against a Zimbabwe without Chatara and Panyangara is like clubbing a crippled seal.

I actually think Latham is quite a good and stylish player. I'm only exaggerating a little bit when I say he occasionally reminds me of Sangakarra.
Throws his wicket away a lot when set, though....

Trent Boult just isn't quite the same bowler now that he was before he got injured early last year, is he. He lost about 5kph of pace and hasn't been able to get it back since.

Is this on Fox, Trev? Or are you commenting via the Dickinfo coverage?

I saw some not exactly legal highlights on youtube of the first test. Boult was bowling low 130s. A couple of years back he was 140+

Century partnership between Craig Ervine & Peter Moor who just reached his fifty on debut.
Is Peter Moor a better wicketkeeper/batsman than Peter Moores?

Well done Zimboks for not sucking.
And for scoring more runs in this innings for the loss of 6 wickets than Australia managed in the entire 2nd test.

Still in, but the tail is collapsing around him. Still 50+ needed to avoid the follow-on.

Declaration must come soon (NZ already have enough, but I wonder whether KW will be lured into continuing until he makes another century) ... Bots will still need to bat for well over a day to save the match.

Re: Zimbabwe v New Zealand, 2nd Test, Bulawayo, 6-10 Aug, 2016
The Cricinfo guy wasn't impressed by the umpiring.
47.4
Santner to Tiripano, OUT, given! Tiripano is distraught. Maybe he ought to be. Looked like sliding down leg, but umpire Reiffel gives him. A flat delivery on leg, Tiripano plays back but the ball skids on with the arm and strikes him in front of leg, but with no turn on that, was it even clipping leg stump? Doubt it, Tiripano unlucky again. Two in two.
DT Tiripano lbw b Santner 22 (96m 75b 3x4 0x6) SR: 29.33
Zimbabwe 97/4 CR Ervine 17* (59b 3x4) MJ Santner 8.4-3-11-1
55.3
Guptill to Ervine, OUT, ooh, given again by umpire Reiffel. Another shocking call. Take nothing away from the delivery, an absolutely superb length - full but not overpitched, not short enough for Ervine to go back. Ervine lunges forward, plays and misses. A big appeal and given! Maybe the bat clipped pad. But definitely no bat. And Zimbabwe lose two wickets to two bad calls in that session
CR Ervine c †Watling b Guptill 27 (121m 81b 4x4 0x6) SR: 33.33
Zimbabwe 112/5 PS Masvaure 4* (25b) MJ Guptill 0.3-0-0-1

Guptill to Cremer, OUT, tossed up outside off, Cremer comes forward and smashes one into his pad. Umpire Reiffel has another shocker. Guptill doesn't care, he celebrates in joy. Right in front but there was a lot of bat on that. Plenty of flight outside off from around the wicket and Cremer plays with bat close to pay. Only call was if there was pad first, certainly did not look like it
AG Cremer lbw b Guptill 1 (16m 17b 0x4 0x6) SR: 5.88
Zimbabwe 132/8 PS Masvaure 11* (59b 1x4) MJ Guptill 6.5-3-11-3

Sodhi to Masvaure, OUT, given. One more. How though? Flat delivery on leg, Masvaure gets forward and looks to defend. The ball beats the inside edge and hits Masvaure in front of leg. But was that sliding down leg? Yes, it was. But he has been given out caught. The ball lobbed up off the pad and taken by Taylor at slip. Another bad decision, the ball did not hit the inside edge. Zimbabwe unravelling quickly. Umpire Gough this time
PS Masvaure c Taylor b Sodhi 11 (106m 61b 1x4 0x6) SR: 18.03
