Will the Bangers make a better account of themselves? Probably not.

SA want a bit more spice in the track. Dane Paterson will replace the injured Morkel who again bowled well.

Tamim out of Bloem test because of a thigh injury. Faf has asked for and received a greenish pitch according to latest reports.

Don't blink, you might miss it.

With no Tamim OR Shakib, the Bangers are more farked up the arse than Elton John's boyfriend.

I love it when a plan comes together. Bangles restrict SA to only 126 at lunch.

Elgar and Makram (sic) both have tons. Bangers are stuffed.
The second gamer looks classy.
The keeper gives Elgar a life.

Well done to Markram (and Elgar).
Still, he couldn't have asked for a better start to his Test career than facing net bowlers in home conditions.

Oui, maybe the Kuhn selection in England was strategic in terms of grooming Markram.

No, it was a stupid decision and proved to be a failure. We wasted 4 tests on someone who will never play again. Would have been better off sticking with Cook if mentoring was needed.

428 in the day is a very entertaining day's cricket for those who watched.
SAf could just about declare now and win in a canter.

Cook would have probably offered similar returns. Clearly they were worried about exposing Markram to those conditions and that attack. We will never know if he could have handled the situation.
Anyway a few batsmen are cashing in here against the Bangers.
