Wanderers escaped its ban at least, despite being rated poor by the ICC.

ABd is injured and won't play the first three ODIs.
Indian fans are all up and in SA's ****** face..for the first three ODIs.

From a WC 19 perspective, arguably the most important perspective, the Indian ODI team has a pretty unsettled look.
For once, it's the batting spots that aren't sorted. A bowling pool of spinners Chahal, Yadav, Patel and pacers Kumar, Bumrah, Thakur and Shami will do. Although they seem to be punting on Thakur over some others I could name.
Pandya will likely play all games as the allrounder- he bowls at 140 and can hold up an end, while he can also hit a few every now and then.
In the batting, Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Dhawan are probably the only certs. Of course the latter two are FTBs but what the hey, it's white ball cricket.
Having Rahane, Pandey, Iyer, Karthik and Jadhav isn't exactly confidence inspiring.
No offence to Rahane who's a genuine Test bat overseas, but ODis aren't exactly his cup of tea.
Iyer is a noob, let's see how he goes.
I fear Pandey will be exposed as a hack in SA conditions.
Karthik has been given enough chances to everyone to realise he's unlikely to make a major impact on a game.
Jadhav is bits and pieces, he chips in very now and then but you always wonder why can't we find someone better.
And then there's one M.S. Dhoni (wk). He's still good behind the stumps but his batting has declined visibly. He doesn't seem the MSD of old who you knew could take down a game in the very last ball.
In short we're so screwed. If Kohli/Sharma/ Dhawan don't fire, expect 220-250 first innings totals.

Good win, but it masks the weakness of our middle order. Get through the top 3 and you're into an untested/declining middle order, and then the tail.

Faf out of the series.
With de Villiers injured and out for 3 games already, SA batting now looks stuffed.

They look a very average side on paper. India will demolish them. de Kock receiving criticism for walking on an LBW decision which was missing the stumps completely. Seems to mistime everything these days.

Well SA arguably has fielded one of its worst ODI teams. India has a poor record in SA in limited overs but they should sweep this series.
SA's lowest ever total at home. They cannot play the Indian spin.

One of the biggest thumpings anywhere in ODIs. SA played like extreme minnows.
Have to laugh though at the obsolescent rules of cricket.

India chasing had 2 runs to win. Then they broke for lunch and had to come back later to finish.
They say this happened, I’d switched off once the SA innings turned to crap/

QDK out of the remaining limited overs in both formats due to a wrist injury.
